I found when supporting Hannah that I felt I had very little time to focus on what I wanted from life. My emotions were all over the place and my time was consumed with trying to balance everyday life and whatever was happening with Hannah at that time.
It was not until years later after Hannah, that I booked in for coaching sessions. I knew after my first session, that coaching was something I not only needed now but back when supporting Hannah.
It gave me a space to talk about what I wanted and my goals (which when supporting Hannah, I felt selfish to think of myself). Coaching also gave me a place to be listened to. Going forward, I found that coaching was so beneficial for me that I wanted to create a space for others to be seen and heard soI went on to complete a diploma in Coaching and Positive Psychology with Andy Ramage and The Arete Way team to become a coach myself.
Coaching is a collaborative process, and allows for a space to work on goals, enhance self development, gain clarity, and make change. It is client-centered and provides a time dedicated for you.
Please note that coaching is not advice given.
I offer a space for you to be seen and heard, a space to be truly you and to focus on you.
My education includes an accredited diploma in Coaching and Positive Psychology, Level 2 in Counselling studies and I am also a Mental Health First Aider.
I do not offer any answers but I provide a space for us to work together, offering accountability and bringing in tools and techniques to help overcome obstacles and implement action plans.
My lived in experience of supporting my sister during her addiction means I offer a true understanding of the feelings and thoughts that a loved ones addiction can bring.
Before we begin working together, I offer a free chemistry session which all of my clients attend before we start working together.
During the call, we’ll have the chance to get to know each other and talk about your goals and what you would like to achieve from coaching. It provides a chance for you to ask questions, discuss expectations and for me to introduce myself and my coaching approach and techniques.
The call will help to determine if there is a good fit for working together and the next steps going forward.
Chemistry sessions will be held via Zoom and can be booked below.
Coaching sessions are £40 each.
The sessions will last for one hour and multiple sessions can be booked in a block.
'From our first session, Amber put me at ease and I worked through the key areas I was lacking in confidence in and needed some help in. Amber was extremely good at listening, breaking things down and asking the right questions to really get me thinking about positive routes and thoughts I needed to think about, in order for me to grow in confidence and achieve what I had dreamt of doing for a long time. Amber has lifted so much weight off my shoulders that I had been carrying around for a very long time. With her help, I have the confidence with the process to achieve my goals - if they initially take a little longer to do, then that's ok. I can not recommend Amber enough, she was professional, trustworthy and gave me positive reinforcements to keep me on track.
Thank you so much Amber, you have been a dream to work with.'

'I have wanted to write a complete novel for many, many years. Since I was young I've loved reading and writing, making up worlds and telling stories people can relate to. Being able to work with Amber to achieve my life goal has been nothing but a positive, uplifting and emotional journey. I do struggle to open up to people and allow them to see how I am feeling and what I am thinking, but Amber has made me feel beyond comfortable in my own skin and also validated my feelings and helped me process the highs and lows as I navigate my way through this journey to my final goal. I am so grateful for having her by my side during this experience, and she has helped me to self reflect and keep moving forward despite any challenges. I have laughed and cried with Amber on this journey, and she has given me a place to be unashamedly myself. I have navigated feeling guilty, worthless, excited, scared and more, but I ultimately always come away from sessions feeling hopeful and excited for what may come. I have loved this experience and what it's taught me about myself and what I'm truly capable of, whilst also showing myself kindness and grace along the way. Amber has made all this possible and I am forever grateful.'
